Revitalizing Tradition: The RPI Flying Club Rebrand
I rebranded the RPI Flying Club (RFC), a historic organization founded in April 1950, to honor its roots while bringing a fresh perspective. The redesign spanned every detail, from the logo and marketing materials to the overall design language and logotype. Inspired by the timeless aesthetics of vintage airlines like TWA and Pan Am, I crafted a visual identity that feels modern yet retro, capturing the elegance and nostalgia of aviation’s golden age. Throughout the process, I ensured the club's iconic historic red remained central, preserving a connection to its storied past.
Juke - Your Music, Reimagined
Blending Retro Charm with Modern Innovation
As the project lead and founder of Juke, an open-source initiative, I envisioned and led the creation of a platform that bridges the convenience of modern music streaming with the nostalgia and authenticity of the past. Inspired by vintage aesthetics, Juke transforms listening into a visually dynamic and audibly engaging experience.
I led the user-interface and user-experience development, designing the Home and Library Pages and overseeing the entire front-end. Collaborating with a team of talented back-end engineers, we built a fully functional web app, integrating Spotify APIs, optimizing performance for Raspberry Pi, and delivering a seamless, immersive, and modern music experience infused with retro charm.
